Indie Photobook Library pop-up exhibition will be on view at the Contemporary Art Center New Orleans January 5 -10,  12pm-5pm and February 1 at 511 Royal St. from 1pm-4pm.  Free and open to the public.
Founded by Larissa Leclair in 2010, the Indie Photobook Library (iPL) is an archive of self-published and indie published photobooks. This includes DIY, photobooks independently published and distributed, photography exhibition catalogs, print-on-demand photobooks, artist books, zines, photobooks printed on newsprint, limited edition photobooks, non-English language photography books and more.Curated by Larissa Leclair, Jan Gilbert and Russell Lord. The library presents a selection of 33 titles from the iPL collection, curated on the themes of migration, cultural identity and transition.
